3M Dynatel Pipe and Cable Locators from Accurate Detection
Accurate Detection has partnered with 3M™
Dynatel™ to bring you the latest in Pipe and Cable locators including
their range of EMS (Electronic Marker System) Ball Markers and iD
Ball Markers. Exclusive to 3M Dynatel, iD Ball Markers contain a
microchip which can be programmed on installation to include a range
of customer-specific information such as facility data, type of
application, material type and size, placement date and other
important detail.
The 3M Dynatel range of pipe and cable locators start
at the 3M Dynatel 2210 which is a basic pipe and cable locator with
features normally found on a mid-priced pipe and cable locator. The top
of the range 2250M-iD is an integrated Cable, Pipe and Ball Marker
Locator. The 3M Dynatel 2250M-iD can be used for real-time mapping of
marker ball placement when used in conjunction with selected GPS mapping
Instruments.

HACH 1720E TURBIDITY METER
HACH
1720E - THE INDUSTRY STANDARD TURBIDITY METER.
The 1720E Low Range Process Turbidity meter provides the sensitivity,
stability and flexibility necessary to continuously track the low levels
of turbidity found in high-quality filtered water. Equipped with the new
dual-input digital sc100 controller, the 1720E is easy to calibrate and
operate, and requires very little maintenance. With an optional network
card the 1720E communicates via Lonworks directly with existing 1720D
AquaTrend systems. A basic system consists of one sc100 Controller and
one 1720E Turbidity sensor. The addition of a second 1720E turbidity
sensor gives you two complete Turbidity Meters.

LMIC-i ELECTRICALLY INSULATED LISTENING STICK NOW AVAILABLE
Accurate Detection and Palmer Environmental have
designed an electrically insulated version of the popular Lmic
listening stick used for leak detection and pinpointing water leaks.
The Palmer Lmic-i has an isolating block between the probe rod and
the microphone and extra insulation on the probe rod to ensure that
there is no danger of electrical shock when in contact with pipe
work made live by an earthing fault. Over 200 of these units have
already been sold to one Australia's largest water suppliers. Fore

GROUND PENETRATING RADAR FOR UTILITY LOCATION
Durkin
Construction have recently added the Mala Easy Locator to
their suite of utility location tools.
Pictured are Jane and Sean Durkin undertaking the advanced user
course with the assistance of Geo-Physicist Mads Toft and
Accurate Detection's very own Garth Coffey.
This one day course illustrates some of the specialist
techniques that can be applied to utility location using the
world's easiest to use Ground Penetrating Radar.
