9860 RFXT Dual Frequency Line and Fault Locator
9860 RFXT Dual Frequency Line and Fault Locator combines the features
of the Dual frequency pipe and cable locator with a fault locator. The
pipe and cable locating facility is exactly the same as the 9860 RLXT,
however the transmitter supplied is also capable of transmitting the signal
(4.8Hz) for the fault loator. A separate receiver called te SFL - 2 is
supplied. This receiver looks like an "A" Frame, has automatic gain and
a visual display indicating the direction of the sheaf fault.
Features
- Automatically determines best locating frequency for your line.
- The ability to simultaneously transmit in both active frequencies.
- Two Active Frequencies 9.8KHz and 82KHz.
- Low, Medium and High Power Output options allow you to control the power.
- Distance sensitive left/right visual and Audio Guidance, it is possible
to locate with your eyes closed.
- Automatic Gain Adjustment, you don’t have to waste time tuning the
sensitivity.
- Manual Gain over ride feature is used to identify ghost signals.
- Current Measurement, indicating when you stray to another pipe or the
pipe has forked.
- Single Button Push for Depth measurement to center of pipe in cm down
to 600cm.
- Weather-resistant, tough and lightweight – 2.35KG.
- Loop Resistance Reading – Confirms you are transmitting a traceable
signal.
- Visual and Audible Distance Sensitive Left/Right Guidance™.
- Easy-to-read display with a back light function for locating in poorly
lit areas.
- Ability to trace Sondes.
- Rechargeable Transmitter Batteries.
- SFL – 2 Receiver has a visual display indicating the direction of
the fault
Applications
- Locating Metallic water and gas pipelines.
- Locating Electric cables, cables and tracer wires.
- Locating Sondes
- Pinpointing Sheaf Faults in cables..
.
Frequencies
