Hach FilterTrak 660 Laser Nephelometer
Overview
|
| |
|
|
The new FilterTrak 660 Laser Nephelometer -
the ultimate in simplicity and security in
filtration management.
|
| |
|
Finest Resolution in the Market
The Hach FilterTrak 660 sc Laser
Nephelometer is designed specifically to detect
changes in turbidity as low as 0.0005 NTU. Using
advanced laser optics and signal processing, the
instrument detects increased concentrations of
submicron-sized particles that are a precursor to
larger particles. This allows for early filter
deterioration detection that meets or exceeds that
of particle counters-all with the day-to-day
convenience, simplicity, and reliability of a Hach
Turbidity Meter. Operators can detect impending
filter breakthrough, delineate filter ripening, and
maximize effective filter run time.

-
Monitor, Optimize, and Report
- USEPA method compliance means that treatment plants
with conventional or membrane filtration can monitor and
optimize, as well as report, using this single
technology.
-
Communications and Data Logging
- Optimize data management with flexible direct digital
communication options including 4-20 mA, digital MODBUS
(RS-485 or RS-232), PROFIBUS DP, or Lonworks protocols.
Every sc100 and sc1000 controller may be equipped with
wireless communication and a built-in data logger.
-
Simple, on-site calibration/verification
- Routine maintenance on the FilterTrak 660 is simple.
Unlike a particle counter, the FilterTrak 660 will not
clog persistently. On-site calibration is fast and
inexpensive, using Hach StablCal® 0.1 and 0.8 NTU
standards.
-
Compatible with Hach Multi-Sensor, Multi-Parameter
Digital Controllers
- The FilterTrak sensor can be used with Hach's new
sc100 or sc1000 Digital Controllers. The sc100
controller accepts up to two sensors. The sc1000
accepts up to eight sensors. Multiple controllers can
be networked to accommodate many more sensors and
parameters, reducing the cost per measuring point. Just
plug in any Hach "plug and play" digital sensor and it's
ready to use without software configuration. "Plug and
play" connectivity means there is no complicated wiring
or set up. Network the FilterTrak 660 sc Laser
Nephelometer with any of Hach's digital sensors for
measuring dissolved oxygen, pH, ORP, conductivity, and
many other parameters.
