Overview

The Hach 2200 PCX Particle Counter is the first particle counter designed specifically to meet the unique requirements of water treatment. The 2200 PCX Particle Counter can be integrated into your plant control system or used with any of our water quality software products, or can be configured to take advantage of both in parallel.

Collected data can be utilized to optimize chemical dosage, backwash cycles, and filter-to-waste times. Particle count reports can also be used to apply for removal credits and filter high-rate studies. The system is an ideal tool for helping you improve your water treatment/production process.

Local Display - Each 2200 PCX Particle Counter is equipped to display particle counts locally, whether operating in the standalone mode or with the Hach "Vista" data collection software program. The display indicates the normalized count (counts/ml) based on the selected size range, count period, and flow rate.
Supports up to 32 size channels - Each sensor is equipped with electronics capable of counting particles in 32 discrete size bins. Each sensor can also accept up to eight analogue inputs from other devices (for example, pH, turbidity, etc.). Inputs are digitized and transmitted via the RS485 output along with particle count data.
Versatile - The 2200 PCX Particle Counter can operate as a standalone unit or as part of a networked system. Several configurations are available to fit every application.
