This extremely simple and low profile hydrant cap is ideal for pressure logging.

You attach the hydrant cap to a hydrant in the same way you attach a hydrant stand pipe. Screwing the central bolt down presses the ball down and opens the hydrant. The water travels through the bolt and the quick fit connection controls this water flow.

Once the logger is attached you can sample the pressure in the distribution network with the logger inside the hydrant box.
